Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEMH and complex needs, helping them access learning and build confidence.

Qualifications

  • Patience, caring and empathy.
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH or complex needs.
  • Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN.
  • Deliver small-group interventions to aid learning.
  • Support SEMH needs and behaviour guidance.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff.
  • Foster social, emotional and communication development.
  • Promote independence and confidence.
