Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking a SEND Teacher to plan and deliver inclusive lessons for learners with SEND, tailoring approaches to individual needs and goals. You will collaborate with support staff to create a safe, engaging learning environment and drive positive progress.

The role is based in Yeovil on a contract basis with hourly pay between £30 and £35, starting ASAP. A recognised teaching qualification and DBS clearance are essential to support safeguarding and high standards of pupil

Are you a dedicated SEND teacher who wants to make a genuine difference to the learning and development of young people with additional needs?

About the Role

As a SEND Teacher, you'll plan and deliver inclusive, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of learners with special educational needs and disabilities. Working with a large FE College in Oxfordshire you'll create a supportive environment where every learner can overcome barriers and reach their potential.

You'll adapt your teaching to a range of abilities and learning styles, drawing on individual education plans to shape the support each learner receives. Working alongside support staff and colleagues, you'll help learners build confidence, independence in work and life skills.

Your responsibilities will include:
