Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher for Ashley Park School, Walton-on-Thames. You will plan and deliver bespoke lessons, build trusting relationships and create an inclusive, nurturing classroom where every pupil is supported to reach their potential.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop individualised plans and monitor progress, ensuring high standards of teaching and safeguarding across the school community.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering SEN provision and adapting learning to individual needs.
• Commitment to inclusive education and helping every pupil succeed.
• Ability to develop engaging, creative lessons and tailor teaching to pupil needs.
• Strong communication within a multidisciplinary team and with families.

Ashley Park School is located in the market town on the south bank of the Thames in the borough of Surrey, within the Greater London built-up area. The school is accessible via a range of transport routes. The specialist school caters for young people with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs.

The school’s aim is to provide a structured, nurturing approach, enabling pupils to access a broad, balanced, engaging and rich curriculum.
