Job summary

Chatsworth High School and Community College in Eccles, Salford, invites applications for a SEN Teacher. The post is 1.0 FTE, full time, on the Main Scale M1–M6 with SEN allowance. You will join a committed staff team in a school for pupils aged 11–19 with severe and complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong SEND knowledge, high expectations for pupil progress and a collaborative approach to CPD and teamwork within a welcoming school community.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SEND and ability to support pupils with complex needs.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and personal development.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality SEN teaching in a 11–19 special school setting.
  • Plan and assess learning with focus on pupil progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external partners.

Part of the Sovereign Trust, Chatsworth High School and Community College is an Outstanding special school for pupils aged 11 – 19 years located in Eccles, which serves children and young people with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism, who live in the area.
