Job summary

Mana Education is seeking SEN Teachers for Nottingham and surrounding areas. Roles span SEN/SEND across primary, secondary and post-16, with day-to-day supply to permanent positions. Roles include adapting lessons for pupils with SEND, building relationships and working with TAs and SENCOs to meet EHCP outcomes.

We welcome ECTs and qualified teachers with UK experience. Pay is daily and varies by role and school, with options for weekly PAYE or umbrella payments.

Qualifications

• Qualified teachers with eligibility to teach in UK schools (QTS or equivalent).
• Experience delivering SEN/SEND support in UK settings welcome.
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse SEN needs.

SEN Teacher - Nottingham and Surrounding Areas

SEN/SEND | SEMH | Primary, Secondary and Post-16

Teacher supply pay: £120-£271 per day, depending on the role, pay scale and school

Location: Nottingham, Beeston, Arnold, Carlton, West Bridgford, Hucknall, Long Eaton and nearby areas

Contracts: Day-to-day supply, short-term, long-term, maternity cover and permanent

Hours: Full-time and part-time

SEN/SEND Teachers - all specialisms

We welcome experience in specialist schools, alternative provision, pupil referral units, resource bases and mainstream SEND support, including:

• Autism/ASC and ADHD
• Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
• Moderate and severe learning difficulties (MLD/SLD)
• Profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)
• Speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
• Specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia and dyspraxia
• Sensory impairments, physical disabilities and complex needs

Experience in nurture provision, positive behaviour support, tutoring and personalised learning is also welcome. You don't need experience across every specialism-tell us where your strengths lie.

Teaching that meets individual needs

Opportunities may span EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and post-16, including subject teaching, functional skills, life skills and preparation for adulthood.

Depending on the placement, your role may involve:

• Adapting lessons to pupils' learning, communication and sensory needs
• Building trusting relationships and supporting emotional regulation
• Working with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and other professionals
• Supporting EHCP outcomes and celebrating individual progress
• Planning, assessment and reporting for longer-term assignments

We'll discuss each setting, its pupils and the responsibilities before you accept a placement.
