Job summary

Academics is partnering with a dedicated SEN school in the DA postcode area near Maidstone to recruit an SEN Teacher. The role is full-time and permanent, with start date in October 2026.

You will plan and deliver inclusive lessons for students aged 4-19 with ASD, MLD, PMLD and SEMH, underpinned by high expectations and supportive collaboration with staff. The successful candidate will hold QTS (or have at least 2 years UK teaching experience) and demonstrate a passion for inclusive education,

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEN students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for SEN students.
• Adapt teaching to diverse needs (ASD, MLD, PMLD, SEMH).
• Collaborate with support staff and families to monitor progress.
