Job summary

Prospero Teaching is working with a specialist education setting in the Somerset area to recruit a SEN Teacher for a full-time, temp-to-perm role. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons for pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and other needs, in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The role emphasizes differentiated instruction, positive behaviour support, and collaboration with other professionals to promote academic, social, and emotional development.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about making a lasting difference to young people's lives.

SEN Teacher - Temp to Perm

Location: Somerset Area

Salary: £130 - £225 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 4:00pm

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

SEN Teacher Required

Prospero Teaching is delighted to be working with a specialist education setting in the Somerset area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity.

This rewarding role involves teaching and supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and associated learning difficulties. The successful candidate will be passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
