Job summary

Riverbank Academy in Coventry is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a caring, creative and motivated school community. safeguarding and student wellbeing are central to our work and we aim to raise standards and improve lives.

You will deliver the Riverbank curriculum, support pupils aged 11–19 in a range of activities, indoors and outdoors, and assist with moving and handling under specialist guidance. Qualified Teacher Status is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status.
• Ability to move physiotherapy equipment with training.
• Experience supporting students with complex SEND.
• Ability to support students aged 11-19 in moving and handling and personal care.

Responsibilities

• Implement Riverbank curriculum and meet professional teaching standards.
• Contribute to the whole life of the School and support safeguarding.
• Support pupils in indoor and outdoor activities and assist with moving and handling.
