We are seeking a committed, adaptable and reflective teacher to join our specialist teaching team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high-quality, personalised learning experiences that respond to pupils' individual needs, developmental starting points and Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Implementing BridgeWorks Structured Teaching, including visual schedules, work systems, structured learning environments and communication-rich approaches.
Leading and coordinating a classroom team of co-educators, ensuring effective deployment and consistent support for pupils.
Developing pupils' communication through Total Communication, Makaton, symbols, objects of reference and appropriate communication systems.
Embedding functional literacy, numeracy, independence and practical life skills throughout the curriculum.
Supporting Preparing for Adulthood outcomes, including employment-related learning, independent living, community inclusion and health.
Working collaboratively with commissioned therapists and specialist professionals to implement agreed therapeutic strategies throughout the school day.
Monitoring and evidencing pupil progress, setting individual targets and contributing to EHCP annual reviews.
Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, pupil welfare, supervision and safe classroom practice.
