Job summary

KPi Education in East Kent is seeking dedicated SEN Teachers to join a network of specialist provisions and inclusive mainstream schools across Ashford, Canterbury, Thanet and Folkestone, supporting pupils with a range of needs.

As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver differentiated lessons for learners with ASC, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning needs, collaborate with SENCOs, Teaching Assistants and parents, monitor progress and promote positive behaviour and independence.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND in specialist or mainstream settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs.
• Support learners working towards EHCP outcomes and personalised learning targets.
• Create a nurturing, structured and inclusive classroom environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to helping pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs

• Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching pupils with SEND in either specialist or mainstream settings
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Possesses strong communication and relationship-building abilities

• Has a proactive and resilient approach to teaching and learning
