Job summary

KPi Education is recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and HLTA s to support pupils with SEND across East Kent, including Ashford, Canterbury, Thanet and Folkestone. The role involves 1:1 support and targeted interventions in collaborative school settings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a SEN school, specialist provision, PRU, or mainstream setting with SEND pupils.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• HLTA qualification welcomed

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Deliver targeted interventions to help students meet EHCP and learning goals
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider support teams to provide a holistic approach to pupil development
• Support students with communication, sensory, emotional and behavioural needs

KPi Education is currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support a range of specialist and mainstream schools across East Kent, including Ashford, Canterbury, Thanet and Folkestone.

We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals who have a proven track record of supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties. Schools across the region are looking for talented support staff who can deliver personalised interventions, promote pupil engagement, and help learners achieve positive educational outcomes.

The Role

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
