Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking passionate SEN Teachers for roles across Canterbury and surrounding areas, with flexible full-time, part-time and supply options. Competitive daily pay 135–240 GBP, immediate starts.

You will plan differentiated lessons for pupils with ASC, PMLD, SLD, MLD, SEMH and SLCN, work with Teaching Assistants and therapists, monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews, helping pupils achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND or strong interest in special education.
• Ability to adapt lessons for a wide range of learning needs.
• Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
• Patient, flexible and committed to helping every pupil reach potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCP targets and reviews.
• Encourage pupils to develop academically, socially and emotionally.
