SEN Teacher - Bedford
Full-Time September Start Long-Term to Permanent Opportunity

An inclusive and forward-thinking school in Bedford is seeking a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of students with a range of special educational needs.



Key Details:

  • Role: SEN Teacher

  • Contract: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent placement)



The Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to pupils with a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, ADHD, and communication difficulties. Working closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies, you will create an engaging and supportive environment where every pupil can thrive.



What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)

  • Experience teaching students with special educational needs

  • Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills

  • A nurturing, calm, and adaptable teaching style

  • Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing



Desirable:

  • Experience in a specialist or PRU setting

  • Team Teach or other relevant training

  • Understanding of EHCPs, sensory integration, or therapeutic approaches
