Primary SEN Teacher - Full-Time Role - September 2025 - Brixton Area (ASD Resource Base)

A specialist ASD resource base in the Brixton area is seeking a compassionate and capable Primary SEN Teacher to join their primary provision in September 2025. This long-term role is ideal for a Primary SEN Teacher who thrives in a structured and nurturing environment that caters to pupils with Autism Spectrum Conditions.

The Primary SEN Teacher will teach a group of 10 students, supported by 4 Learning Support Assistants. These pupils require a calm, supportive approach, and the Primary SEN Teacher must be adept at creating tailored lesson plans to meet a wide range of developmental, sensory, and communication needs.

Key Responsibilities For The Primary SEN Teacher Include

• Designing engaging and accessible learning experiences adapted for each individual learner.
• Supporting EHCP targets and collaborating with the SENCO and therapists.
• Implementing sensory activities, visual supports, and structured routines to promote learning.
• Leading a positive and inclusive classroom environment with a trauma-informed approach.
