Job summary

Step Into Teaching Limited is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Basildon, Essex. This role offers valuable classroom experience ahead of teacher training and runs full-time, term-time only.

You will work with pupils from diverse backgrounds, supporting learning and building confidence while performing 1:1 and small-group interventions. DBS checks apply, with an ASAP start.

The Opportunity

• Location: Basildon, Essex
• Role: Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Start Date: ASAP
• Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday, Term-time only)
• Pay: £500- £520 per week
• Duration: For the academic year (minimum commitment)
• Focus: Gain classroom experience and build confidence in preparation for teacher training
• Working with: Pupils from a variety of backgrounds
