Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in St Albans is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time maternity cover role, starting immediately (September 2026). Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire. Salary: 95+ per day.

This is an outstanding primary school position with a strong ethos and supportive team. The ideal candidate will support pupils with SEN, manage behaviour effectively, and maintain a calm, structured learning environment while building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

An Outstanding Primary School in St Albans, Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis for an immediate start. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
