Job summary

Qteg in Hackney is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start in a SEN school. You will work 1:1 and with small groups to help pupils access lessons and develop communication skills, while promoting independence.

The Role

I am recruiting for an SEN TA to support pupils in an SEN school in Hackney. You will work 1:1 and with small groups, helping children access lessons, develop their communication skills and become more independent.

Working closely with the class teacher, you will adapt activities to suit individual needs, support pupils with emotional regulation and encourage engagement in learning. This role will suit a patient and nurturing SEN TA with strong behaviour management skills.
