Step Into Teaching is working with a specialist school in Cromer, Norfolk, to recruit an enthusiastic SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant. This full‑time role is term‑time only, paying £500–£530 per week, starting September 2026.

You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, providing one‑to‑one and small‑group help, helping learners access personalised activities, and building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Qualifications

Step Into Teaching is working with a specialist school in Cromer, Norfolk, to recruit an enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with experienced teachers and specialist staff, helping pupils access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

What will you be doing?

As an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

Previous experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals is beneficial but not essential. The most important qualities are a genuine passion for supporting pupils and a willingness to learn.
