Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant for a Cheltenham school. The role supports learners on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, delivering targeted interventions and helping to implement personalised learning plans.

Start ASAP, term-time only, 8:30am–3:30pm, £90–£105 per day DOE. You will work with a skilled team to foster a positive learning environment and support safeguarding policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
• A genuine passion for helping children with SEN.
• Willingness to learn and take on training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting learners in a classroom environment, on a 1:1 basis, and in targeted intervention groups.
• Help create a safe and encouraging environment for learners to thrive.
• Assist with learning and interventions to support social and emotional progress.
• Monitor achievements and help students reach their full potential inside and outside the classroom.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed at all times.

Salary: £90 - £105 per day (DOE)

Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
