About the Role:

You will be supporting pupils with complex and profound needs, many of whom require communication support and sensory-based learning. Needs you may support include:

• Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
• Sensory impairments (visual and hearing)
• Non-verbal communication, including the use ofPECS, Makaton, AAC, and sensory cues.

You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and care staff to help pupils engage with learning through sensory exploration, routine, and personalised support, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and understood.
