Job summary

St Bede's Catholic Voluntary Academy in Scunthorpe is seeking a dedicated classroom support role to assist pupils aged 11-16 across KS3 (and KS4) with their learning. You will work 35 hours per week during term time, from 8:30am to 4pm, supporting teachers to help pupils catch up and reach their targets.

We value a caring, supportive approach and provide opportunities for career development within the school, including access to CPD, a strong wellbeing ethos, and a welcoming, collaborative staff

Qualifications

• Be caring and supportive in a classroom setting.
• Support Teachers to enthuse students and monitor progress.
• Assist with planning, differentiation and preparation of intervention strategies.
• Promote pupil wellbeing and provide guidance and support.
• Establish supportive relationships with pupils and encourage questions.
• Provide support for learning activities and monitor their effectiveness.
