Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking a dedicated SEN support worker for a specialist school in Lewisham. You will provide high-quality support to learners with diverse educational needs, helping them thrive and reach their potential.

The role is term-time only with an ASAP start. DBS check is required or you must be willing to apply. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting learning, development and engagement in a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check is required, or you must be willing to apply for one.
• Term-time contract with a school-based SEN setting.
• 1:1 and small group support across the day.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to a range of learners across the day
• Build positive and trusting relationships with learners.
• Support learners with their learning, development and engagement.
• Encourage continued positive behaviour choices, confidence and independence.
• Help maintain a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment for all.
• Follow all policies and procedures on a daily basis.
