Salary:Competitive, based on experience
Hours:School hours (typically 08:30 – 15:30)

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We’re looking for a caring and committed SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Eastbourne area for afull-time role from September to December 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils who need extra support, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally in a nurturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
• Assisting with classroom activities and adapting materials to meet individual needs
• Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
• Helping create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children with SEN (in school or other settings)
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
