Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. invites enthusiastic tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to primary and secondary learners across Bournemouth and surrounding areas. You will work with both mainstream and SEN/SEND learners, focusing on Maths, English, exams, and SEND needs, to help students overcome barriers and make progress.

All applicants must have appropriate qualifications and training. The role offers flexible hours, paid at £20-£25 per hour, with specialist SEND training and ongoing

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people.
  • Teaching, tutoring, mentoring or educational experience.
  • Experience supporting mainstream and/or SEN learners.

  • Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition sessions.
  • Adapt learning to suit individual needs and abilities.
  • Support learners across a range of curriculum subjects.
  • Monitor and record student progress.

Job description

TP Tutors is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to primary and secondary learners across Bournemouth and surrounding areas.

This rewarding opportunity involves working with both mainstream and SEN/SEND learners, helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and make meaningful academic progress. Whether a learner requires targeted intervention in Maths or English, support preparing for exams, or additional assistance relating to Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other SEND needs, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference.

Every learner is unique, which is why we tailor our tuition to individual needs, goals and learning styles. As a tutor, you'll play an important role in helping students re-engage with education and achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
