Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Nottingham and surrounding areas. Roles range from day-to-day supply to short-term and longer-term placements, offering flexibility for experienced TA's.

You'll provide 1:1 support, work with small groups, and help pupils manage emotions and engage with learning. A calm, patient approach and safeguarding awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH
• Experience in schools, SEN provisions or similar
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour
• Calm, patient and resilient approach
• Strong safeguarding awareness

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils
• Support small groups or whole-class activities
• Help pupils regulate emotions and stay engaged
• Build positive relationships with pupils
• Work across different settings as needed
