TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant in Chesterfield to support students with SEMH needs on a one-to-one and small group basis. The role starts in September and may transition from temporary to permanent.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months’ experience working within a UK education setting.
• Previous experience supporting students with SEMH needs.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.
