Bolton St Catherine's Academy invites applications for a Teaching and Learning Assistant (Level 2 + SEN). The post is a permanent contract, 30.25 hours per week, term time plus one day. Salary ranges £26,847–£29,071 plus SEN allowances, with an actual salary of £18,437.35–£19,964.70 plus SEN allowance.

ASAP start. The school is a 3-16 all-age academy offering CPD, development programmes, and a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children aged 11-16 in education.
• Able to work flexibly to meet role demands.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support individual and groups of students under supervision of teaching staff.
• Assist in managing student behaviour using a range of strategies.
