Job Opportunity: SEN Teacher at Specialist Needs School in Camden

Prospero Teaching is recruiting an SEN Teacher to join a Specialist Needs school located in Camden (NW8). The school provides education for students with ASD, complex needs, and communication challenges.

Positions are available for facilitating children and young people from KS3 to KS5. These roles are suitable for teachers with secondary or further education experience, or those interested in working across different age groups.

Details:

• Daily Rate: Paid to scale
• Contract Type: Full Time, Temp-Perm
• Start Date: Immediate (January 2025)
• Class sizes: 8-16 students, depending on provision

Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
• UK Classroom Experience
• Previous SEN experience
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with staff, parents, and students
• Up-to-date safeguarding certificate issued within the last year

Eligibility:

• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or willingness to process one
• Two professional references covering the past two years
