SEN Maths Teacher – Secondary School in Lambeth

Position: SEN Maths Teacher

Location: Lambeth

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Role Overview:

As an SEN Maths Teacher, you will deliver personalized and engaging lessons in mathematics to students with SEND. Your focus will be on providing accessible learning experiences that help students develop mathematical skills and build confidence in their abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver differentiated maths lessons for students with SEND.
2. Implement tailored interventions to support students in achieving their learning objectives.
3. Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor student progress.
4. Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
5. Encourage and support students in their mathematical journey, building their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
6. Foster an inclusive, engaging, and motivating classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in mathematics.
2. Experience teaching maths, particularly to students with SEND.
