Job summary

Justteachers Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an experienced SEN Science Teacher to join a specialist SEN school from September 2026. You will plan and deliver Science lessons, differentiate activities, and supervise practical experiments that spark curiosity and achievement.

You will work closely with SENCOs, teaching assistants and pastoral teams to support students’ development, confidence and wellbeing, and provide regular feedback to families and carers.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience working with students with SEN, SEMH, autism or complex needs.
• Strong subject knowledge in science.
• Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion.
