Salary: £170 - £232 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an outstanding 11-18 comprehensive school in South Birmingham with approximately 1,700 students. The school has a strong culture of high achievement and professional development, with excellent facilities and successful Science and PE departments.

The school is looking to take on a Science Teacher from September 2026 on a full-time, fixed-term basis. The successful Science Teacher will primarily teach Science while also contributing to PE, with teaching commitments determined by experience and expertise, alongside supporting extracurricular activities and educational visits.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism
• Experience teaching Science within a secondary school
• The ability to contribute confidently to the delivery of PE
• Excellent classroom management and high expectations of students
• A passion for delivering high-quality teaching and achieving excellent outcomes
• A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
