Job summary

Uniform Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Hillingdon, West London. Roles include long-term and daily supply placements in mainstream and SEN settings, with hours Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:00pm.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting pupils with SEN, deliver targeted interventions, and work closely with teachers to create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Enhanced DBS on Update Service preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar education-based role.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is essential.
• Experience delivering or supporting targeted interventions.
• Confident working with pupils on 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Uniform Education).
• Must be available Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Deliver targeted interventions to support pupils' academic and personal development.
• Support pupils with their learning, engagement, and classroom activities.
• Work across mainstream and SEN settings, depending on the placement.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and confidence.
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and personal development.
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet pupils' individual needs.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
