Randstad Education Barnsley is seeking an expert SEN primary teacher to transform learning for pupils with complex sensory and educational needs. In this full-time role you will design tailored learning programs, collaborate with the SENDCo and outside specialists to meet EHCP outcomes, mentor classroom support staff, employ low-arousal

Qualificações

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification with SEN focus.
• Proven track record teaching primary pupils with complex educational or behavioural needs.
• Excellent knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies, EHCP tracking, and safeguarding.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to process one).
• Strong collaborative, organisational, and communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver tailored primary learning programs for pupils with complex sensory and educational needs.
• Collaborate with the SENDCo and external specialists to fulfill EHCP outcomes effectively.
• Guide, deploy, and mentor classroom support staff to ensure safe, inclusive learning spaces.
• Use positive behaviour management and low-arousal strategies to maintain an encouraging workspace.
• Build strong, trusted connections with parents and carers through regular feedback.
