Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a dedicated SEND provision. You will lead a small class of primary pupils with complex needs, including Autism, delivering differentiated lessons with the support of skilled teaching assistants.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and SEN experience.
• Experience teaching children with Autism and complex needs.
• Collaborative and compassionate approach with a child-centered focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for children with a range of complex learning needs.
• Teach a small class of primary aged pupils, with support from skilled teaching assistants.
• Work closely with the wider school team to implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom that supports communication, independence, and social development.
• Contribute to the wider school community and the whole-child approach to education.
