Job summary

The Education Network is recruiting a qualified SEN Teacher to join a welcoming primary SEND provision. You will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons to a small class of primary pupils, with 1-2-1 support where needed.

You will work with teaching assistants, implement EHCP targets, and contribute to an inclusive, engaging learning environment. The school offers a supportive leadership team, opportunities for professional development, and a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons for children with a range of complex learning needs.
• Teaching a small class of primary aged pupils, with support from skilled teaching assistants.
• Working closely with the wider school team to implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
• Creating a positive, inclusive classroom that supports communication, independence, and social development.
• Making learning fun, engaging and interactive for pupils and ensuring the environment feels like a special place for every child.
• Contributing to the wider school community and whole-child approach to education.
