Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated PMLD Teacher to join Oldham SEND Trust, working with KS2 and KS3 pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties to support EHCP outcomes. The role is full-time, long-term, starting October 2026, with a collaborative, nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in an SEN setting, ideally with PMLD pupils.
• Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to progress.
• Excellent communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, engaging lessons to pupils with PMLD across KS2 and KS3.
• Plan and differentiate learning to meet EHCP outcomes and milestones.
• Collaborate with support staff, parents and carers to create a nurturing learning environment.
• Contribute to a positive, safe classroom where every student can thrive.
