Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a committed PMLD Teacher to join a well-established primary SEND provision in Bury. You will deliver highly personalised learning experiences for pupils with complex needs and support EHCP outcomes.

The role is long-term, full-time, with support staff and parents, focusing on multi-sensory learning, communication development and a holistic, child-centred approach.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching in an SEN setting or strong SEN knowledge.
• Calm, empathetic and resilient classroom management approach.
• Passion for inclusive education and nurturing every child's progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored lessons to pupils with PMLD.
• Plan and differentiate engaging lessons to meet EHCP outcomes and developmental milestones.
• Work closely with support staff and parents/carers to ensure a consistent and supportive learning environment.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning space where every student can thrive.
