Job summary

Balance Education Limited is seeking an SEN Multi-Trade Tutor in Lancashire to deliver practical construction skills to learners with EHCPs. The role is a 3-day week (Tuesday-Thursday) focusing on plastering and joinery, with a need to adapt delivery for individual learners.

You will work with learners who may require additional support, and sessions will be tailored to help them build practical skills, confidence and progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Construction trades experience essential.
• Experience delivering practical construction training.
• Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching to learner needs.
• Patient and supportive approach to learners.
• SEN/EHCP experience beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical multi-trade construction training to learners.
• Work with learners with EHCPs to support progression.
• Primarily deliver plastering and joinery sessions.
• Adapt sessions around individual learner needs and abilities.
• Support learners with practical skills, confidence and progression.
