Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Part time Midday Meal Supervisor to support a Secondary SEN school in Lewisham. The role runs 11.45am–2pm, Monday to Friday, with 1:1 support and lunchtime supervision for students.

You will collaborate with teachers to implement learning plans and help develop social and emotional skills to promote independence. DBS required and Level 2/3 TA diploma is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEN is required.
• Ability to work 1:1 or in small groups during lunchtimes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

Remedy are looking for an experienced Midday Meal Supervisor who can support a Secondary SEN school starting ASAP. You will be working 1:1 and supporting students at lunchtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in harmony with teachers to install learning plans
• Develop the social and emotional to promote independence in students
• Assess the students' progress and report to the teachers and parents
• Dedicated support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 Months experience working with SEN
• A patient and adaptable approach to challenging situations
• Secure communication and interpersonal skills
• Desirable qualifications include, Level 2 or 3 TA Diploma
• Enhanced DBS Check
