Job summary

Esland is opening a new SEN school in Doncaster in September 2026. They seek an outstanding Maths Teacher to support vulnerable learners aged 7–18 with SEND/SEMH needs, delivering maths across key stages and building an inclusive, stimulating classroom culture.

The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with core hours 8:30am–4:30pm, salary up to £43,194, and a strong focus on induction, training, and career progression within a growing specialist provision.

We are excited to announce that Esland will be opening a new SEN school in Doncaster in September 2026. This is an exciting and fantastic opportunity to be part of a new, specialist provision supporting vulnerable young people aged 7 to 18 years who have SEND and SEMH needs.

Pupils are encouraged to cover a range of qualifications ranging from Entry Level Certificates, through Functional Skills to GCSE.

• Qualified Teacher status
• Sound curriculum knowledge surrounding mathematics (ideally across several key stages)
• Proven experience of working with specialist education for young people
• Proven experience of working with young people that challenge
• A committed, conscientious and passionate approach to inclusion
• The ability to plan, evaluate and monitor learning and progress
• The ability to build good relationships with young people and staff members alike
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use time effectively
• A positive attitude to hard work and challenging situations
