Job summary

AMA Admin seeks a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant for a Liverpool-area primary school starting in September. You will work with children with ASD and PMLD, supporting their educational, social, and emotional development to help them access learning and reach their potential.

Role involves 1:1 and small group support, implementing learning plans, and fostering a safe, inclusive environment. Flexibility and safeguarding commitment are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD and/or PMLD.
  • Understanding of autism strategies, sensory needs, and communication aids (e.g. PECS, Makaton).
  • Patience, empathy and a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently, with safeguarding focus.

SEN LSA

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Learning Support Assistant to join our primary school team from September. You will be working closely with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), supporting their educational, social, and emotional development.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential.
