Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support Secondary schools across Greenwich. This role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with daily pay between 100 and 117 and ASAP start.

Ideal candidates include experienced LSAs or Teaching Assistants, or those with relevant childcare experience. You’ll gain diverse classroom exposure, flexible opportunities, and ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in school environments.
• Proven ability to work with children across KS3–KS5.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across KS3–KS5 settings.
• Assist teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Support pupils one-on-one and in small groups as needed.
• Encourage positive behaviour and participation in learning.
• Help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide classroom support across KS3, KS4, and KS5 settings
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences
• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups where required
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and participation in learning
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment
• Adapt confidently to different schools and classroom settings

What We're Looking For

• A Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or relevant childcare qualification, or recent experience working with children
• A positive, patient, and supportive approach to working with young learners
