Job summary

London South East Colleges Group is seeking a confident SEN practitioner to support and tutor learners with identified learning difficulties. The role focuses on delivering high-quality learning experiences and helping individuals prepare for national and local exams, while fostering social skills for future employment or higher education.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 SEN qualifications (or working towards) and a full teaching qualification (or working towards).

Qualifications

• Holds Level 3 specialist SEN qualifications or working towards.
• Full teaching qualification or working towards acceptable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and tuition to learners with recognised learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Help learners gain the appropriate skills for exams and assessments.
• Develop social skills and behaviours to enable progression to employment or higher education.
