Job Description:

We're working closely with some fantastic special schools in the Devizes area that are looking for Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join the team, ideally with an immediate start. There are a variety of roles available, all ideally on a full-time basis.

These schools support students with SEMH & SEND (ASD, SEMH, SLD, MLD, PMLD, Complex Needs) aged 4-19.

The role

The LSA role varies by school but generally involves providing classroom support, 1-1 assistance, and supporting the class teacher as needed. Collaboration with other TAs in the class is essential, so being a natural team player is important.

Experience working with special needs is crucial. Previous support work in schools is preferred, but applications from candidates with relevant support work experience are welcome.
