Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an LSA at a SEN school in Wickford to support students 1:1 or in small groups. The role runs 8:30am-3:30pm with sociable hours and no weekends, and offers potential for temp-to-perm progression.

Experience with SEN is not essential if you show passion and commitment to working with children. A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) is required, and you must be able to use your own initiative.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SEN children (not essential)
• Hold a valid DBS on update service or be willing to apply for one
• Passion and drive to work with children - MUST
• Able to use own initiative to get involved – MUST

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN
• Assist with classroom activities and help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support student development
• Be a source of motivation, encouragement, and positivity for your students
