Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one or small group support for students with diverse learning needs in Wickford. You will work closely with teachers to implement personalised plans and monitor progress, ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment.

The role emphasizes safeguarding knowledge and DBS checks, with opportunities for CPD training and professional development through GSL’s library of courses.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Initiative and willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for supporting young people to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to specific students with learning needs.

• Foster a positive relationship to promote well-being and engagement.
• Monitor and track student progress and provide feedback.
