Job summary

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 or above.
• Experience in supporting children in a classroom environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety in the learning environment.
• Strong communication with pupils and empathy.
• DBS check enhanced and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in class, including those with SEN.
• Use technology to support pupils in the classroom.
• Provide individual attention, reassurance and help with learning tasks.
• Apply agreed behaviour management strategies consistently.
• Give constructive feedback to reinforce pupils' self-esteem.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and listen actively.
• Provide physical support to pupils where required.
