Job summary

Esher Church of England High School, part of Enlighten Learning Trust, seeks a Learning Support Assistant to work with teachers and support students with special needs in class. The role centers on helping students access the national curriculum and backing their wellbeing, behaviour and personal development.

Hours run up to 30 a week during term time only, with part-time and flexible patterns considered. A DBS check is required and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Good written and spoken English.
• Numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs in class so they can access the national curriculum.
• Help students take part fully in school activities.
• Support key students to access the curriculum in lessons.
• Support wellbeing, behaviour and personal development to strengthen learning and life skills.
