Job summary

The HireWorks Ltd is assisting a passionate school in Harlow to recruit a SEN Learning Support Assistant for a September start. This full-time role is term-time only, with a focus on helping pupils with SEND to access learning in a supportive environment.

You will work closely with teachers and the SENCO, providing one-to-one and small-group support, fostering confidence, independence and resilience in students with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social and emotional challenges.

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Working alongside experienced teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning support.
• Helping children develop confidence, independence, and resilience.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a safe, nurturing learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
