Job summary

Academics is partnering with a warm, inclusive school in Hillingdon to recruit a SEN Learning Support Assistant. This is a part-time, term-time only role working 30 hours per week, starting January.

You will provide 1:1 or small-group support, adapt activities, and help create a safe, supportive learning environment for pupils with additional needs, in collaboration with teachers and the SENCO.

Qualifications

• Experience working as an SEN Learning Support Assistant or similar.
• Calm, patient and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication skills with staff and pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEN.
• Assist with personalised learning activities and adapt resources.
• Support emotional regulation and behaviour as needed.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO.
• Help create an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment.
